Even powerful PCs can suffer from FPS drops in Rust, while mid-range and low-end setups often turn the game into a cycle of freezes and stutters. RustKit adjusts process priorities, applies system tweaks, and prepares ready-to-use config presets for more stable gameplay. A legal overlay crosshair and hotkey-based system gamma profiles help keep the image visible on your monitor even when external light creates glare. Everything works like regular system, monitor, and game settings — no magic, just convenience and saved time.
Comfortable aiming without complicated setup
Officially allowed by Facepunch Studios →Dot, cross, ring, square, and mixed shapes. The most requested options for different weapons and playstyles.
Choose any color, pick one from the screen, and adjust transparency. Your crosshair stays readable in different lighting conditions.
Fine-tune the crosshair size — from a barely visible dot to a bold aiming marker, without losing readability.
The crosshair is displayed only over Rust, so it does not interfere with your desktop or other apps.
The crosshair module, like other modules, works independently and can be fully disabled. It is compatible with other software and does not force you to use it. For the best result, we recommend disabling the default in-game crosshair.
The crosshair stays exactly in the center of the game window and does not shift when resolution, scaling, or aspect ratio changes.
One profile helps improve visibility when external light causes glare on dark scenes. The other reduces excessive brightness in areas where the image feels too bright or washed out.
When the image on your monitor is dark, external glare becomes much more noticeable. This profile helps make the picture easier to read in those conditions.
You can enable the profile with a hotkey during gameplay, right when glare makes it harder to see. Useful for dark locations and fast lighting changes on screen.
No need to manually change monitor, NVIDIA, or Windows settings every time — the profile switches instantly and helps bring the image back to a comfortable level.
The profile makes the image easier on the eyes in scenes where there is too much light and the picture feels harsh or washed out.
Especially useful in locations with many white and bright tones, where the default image can quickly cause eye strain.
A solid option for building, farming, and regular gameplay when you want a softer visual mode without aggressive brightness.
Windows system tweaks for more stable frame time and lower input lag
Lowers the Windows timer from 15.6ms to 1ms. Helps reduce micro-stutters and make gameplay feel more stable.
GPU Priority 8, Scheduling Category High. Enables Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling through WDDM.
Disables Nagle's Algorithm with TCPNoDelay. Removes Windows network throttling.
Automatically raises Rust.exe priority to High. SystemResponsiveness = 0 for maximum responsiveness.
Switches to the High Performance power plan. Disables CPU and GPU power saving during gameplay.
Stops background services such as SysMain, DiagTrack, and Xbox services. Restores the original state after gameplay.
4 ready-made presets for different hardware and playstyles. Pick the one that fits your PC — RustKit handles the rest automatically.
For PCs that can barely run Rust. This is not about boosting FPS — it is about making the game run more consistently on weak hardware.
For lower-midrange machines. This preset is tuned for PvP: unnecessary effects are removed, visuals are simplified, and draw distance is slightly reduced for stability.
The most popular preset. Good visuals, maximum PvP visibility and distance settings, while still keeping strong FPS on decent hardware.
For powerful hardware and players who want Rust to look its best. The focus here is visual quality, not maximum FPS.
Multi-craft up to 3 items on one key. Convenient during fights or for common crafting actions.
See used and free keys directly on the keyboard layout. Makes it easier to set up binds without guessing what is already assigned.
On first launch, RustKit creates a backup of the original client files. The “Reset” button instantly restores all settings to their original state, so you can safely test different presets.

Everything you need to know about RustKit
RustKit is a utility for image adjustment, crosshairs, Rust configuration, and system optimization during gameplay. It works through Windows system mechanisms and regular client settings. It does not modify game memory or change in-game data.
Main RustKit features:
• Visual tuning — gamma and image adjustment through Windows system functions
• Crosshairs — separate crosshair overlay displayed over the game
• Optimizer — system tweaks for more comfortable and stable gameplay
• Rust configurator — 4 ready-made presets in 1 click, automatically tuning 33 parameters
• Manual setup — parameters can be edited directly in the app
• Bind editor — regular binds and crafting binds for up to 3 items on one key
All changes are applied either at the operating system level or through available Rust client settings. RustKit is not an injection, cheat menu, or memory modification tool.
RustKit does not use injections, does not modify game memory, and does not bypass anti-cheat systems. In practice, it is closer to system settings, image settings, and user-accessible client configuration.
However, the final assessment of any third-party tools always belongs to the game developers, anti-cheat systems, and individual server administrators. We do not control their policies and cannot predict how they may interpret similar tools in the future.
If future use of RustKit becomes impossible due to decisions by the game developers, Easy Anti-Cheat, or other external restrictions, the program may stop working fully or partially.
In practice, this may mean that the game no longer starts while the utility is active, some features become unavailable, or similar tools become restricted by the game or anti-cheat.
In that case, we do not release bypass versions, do not provide patches to avoid restrictions, and do not support using the product against third-party rules.
The license is valid during the product support and lawful distribution period. If support is discontinued for reasons beyond our control, further updates and maintenance may stop according to the offer terms.
You can launch RustKit at any time. The program is not tied to a specific Rust launch moment and works through Windows system mechanisms and client settings.
All selected parameters are saved automatically, so you do not need to configure everything again every time.
Compatibility: Windows 10 / 11.

"Solid app without unnecessary stuff. The night image setting helps, the crosshair is convenient, and the optimizer is not useless either."
"I don’t like spending half an hour digging through settings. Here everything is simple and clear. Installed it, set it up, got what I wanted."
"I first got it just for the visual settings, but the crosshair turned out useful too. Adjusted color and size in seconds and stopped thinking about it."
"I used to do this through the driver and monitor settings. This is much more convenient because everything is in one place."
"Bought it mainly for the optimizer, but ended up using almost all the features."
